Materials Testing / Geotechnical Engineer

The Materials Testing/Geotechnical Engineer should be capable of performing the following tasks:

  • Prepare geotechnical and foundation engineering reports of various complexity.
  • Supervise a group of technicians and perform advanced technical work involving the testing of aggregates, soils, concrete and other materials.
  • Manage Geotechnical and construction materials projects and perform onsite observations and meetings with clients.
  • Schedule and assign work to be done and outlines procedures especially where new materials or tests are to be used.
  • Devise and apply formulas for the interpretation and calculation of test results and makes recommendations regarding compliance.• Performs related work as required.

Technicians

  • Concrete Technician: ACI Certified 1->5 years Experience
  • Soil and Concrete Technician: ACI and Troxler 2-> 5 years Experience

Laboratory Testing Assistant Manager

  • Experienced/certified individual to perform testing on soils, concrete, asphalt per acceptable standards (i.e. AASHTO, ASTM, ACI, etc.)

Assistant Drilling Manager/Drillers

  • Assistant Drilling Manager: Oversees all aspects of drilling operations, including scheduling, site visits, equipment maintenance, procurement drilling and supervision-3-±10 years experience is a plus.
  • Drilling Staff: Daily drilling projects and capable of operating truck mounted and ATV drill rigs for geotechnical sites. Must have knowledge of standard penetration testing (SPT). Commercial License required.
  • Assistant Drilling Staff: Carry on drilling duties and assist drill of truck and ATV drilling services for geotechnical sites. Must have knowledge of standard penetration testing (SPT)

Assistant Project Manager

This position will deal will day-to-day testing, supervision of small and large projects for construction materials and geotechnical projects.
